Abstract

Ultrasound diagnostics is a method that is unique in its capabilities and has a number of advantages over other traditional diagnostic methods. The absence of radiation exposure, the absence of the need to use contrast agents with allergenic, nephrotoxic effects, the absence of dependence of the information content of the study on the functional state of the kidneys (chronic renal failure, acute renal failure), economic accessibility make sonography the "first echelon" method in examining patients with hematuria.
