Abstract

In connection with the imbalance of neurotransmitters in the brain, vasomotor symptoms develop. In particular, the concentration of serotonin, norepinephrine, γaminobutyric acid and opioid peptides decreases, and the concentration of monoamine oxidase increases. As a rule, such changes occur immediately and significantly reduce the quality of life of women, leading to sleep disturbance, anxiety, depression, migraine, dementia, etc.
