Abstract

This article presents the results of a study on the frequency of alleles and genotypes of the T-786C polymorphism of the ENOS3 gene in patients with diabetes under 10 years without DN (n=33), who constituted the main group compared with the control group of healthy individuals. Genotyping was performed by polymerase chain reaction. The study showed that association of C allele and CC genotype of ENOS3 gene plays a role in the development of diabetic nephropathy in patients with type 2 diabetes depending on the duration of the disease in the study group of the Uzbek nation.
