Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an acute febrile disease found in the tropics, this disease is caused by one of four viral serotypes of the genus Flavivirus, family Flaviviridae. Each serotype is sufficiently distinct that there is no cross-protection and outbreaks caused by multiple serotypes (hyperendemicity) may occur. The purpose of this study was to determine the management of DHF control at Payung Sekaki Health Center Pekanbaru City in 2020. This study used a descriptive qualitative research type. The instruments used in data collection in this study were interview guides, observation sheets, recording devices, cameras, and stationery. In this study the data that has been collected will be recorded in one document, then the data is made in the form of a descriptive narrative. The results of this study indicate that it is necessary to add several human resources in the fields of Epidemiology and Surveillance and need to carry out more rigorous evaluation and supervision. For implementation, it is quite good and implemented as it should be. This study recommends improving the quality of DHF control management so that it runs better and that there will be a decrease in dengue cases at Payung Sekaki Health Center Pekanbaru City.
