Pathomorphological Changes that Develop in the Wall of the Aorta Under the Influence of Radiation

Abstract
In this article, the experiment on the effect of gamma radiation studied the pathomorphological changes developed in the wall of the aorta in animals. The experiment was conducted with 3, 6, 9, 12 months of giving rabbits 10 Gray doses of gamma light for 1 day. The results of the morphological examination showed that there was an aggravation of the pathomorphological changes that develop in the wall of the aorta as the animals grow older. At 3 months of life, only dystrophic and a small number of destructive changes were developed in the inner layers of the aorta wall, 6 months of life, intima of the aorta was completely destroyed, on the surface there was an adhesion of plasma proteins and blood cells, a strong edema of the intermediate tissue. And in 9 months of life, it was observed that the inflammatory process was added to the above-mentioned destructive changes. In the 12-month-old animal, along with inflammation, there was a strong destruction, necrosis and the appearance of detritus foci with Necrosis.
