Abstract

The review details current views on the problem of functional constipation in children, discusses immune factors and their relationship with the nervous systemthat contribute to the formation of constipation. Рассмотрены Current data on the intestinal microbiota, which plays a major role in maintaining the body's immune balance, are reviewed, and pathogenetic and diagnostic principles of functional constipation in pediatric practice are described.
